As we begin a new year here at Integrel Solutions, we are reflecting on the prosperous year of 2022. We successfully secured £3 million in investments, which has helped to facilitate key areas of our business. We are especially excited to see how this will continue throughout the coming year.

Throughout 2022, we utilised investments in our product development, focusing on the development of Integrel: The Next Generation for new markets. Funds were also distributed across operations and stock, install services, and marketing.

To grow our partner base last year, we proposed to attend all major boat shows globally. The year presented opportunities for us to platform our product at trade shows in Miami, La Grande Motte, Cannes, and Genoa. At these trade shows, we built new partnerships, increased brand awareness, onboarded new boat builders, and made key relationships with distributors around the world. After the Coronavirus pandemic, it was great to be able to attend these trade shows and have face-to-face interactions again.

In November, we attended the METSTRADE show in Amsterdam with a Dame award entry, where we displayed Integrel: The Next Generation. We were recognized for expanding the capabilities of the original DAME Award-winning technology by increasing generation capacity and catering for larger boats. The Jury also commented on the addition of our e-drive module to deliver all-electric propulsion capability and a torque boost option similar in concept to a mild hybrid in automotive that provides short boosts of additional power to lift powerboats onto the plane, potentially reducing the installed internal combustion horsepower needs.

The Integrel team has been working hard to make key developments in our system’s mechanical and software parts. Becoming category winners at the Dame Awards was a prosperous moment for us in 2022, and one to celebrate. It is our mission to expand our reach and let more people know about our pioneering technology, to improve the sustainability of luxury boating worldwide.

We have expanded our departments and have recruited several new team members to further our company’s performance and the product we are showcasing. Integrel has welcomed new members George Symes-Davidson (Installation and Support Technician), James Dixon (Director of Sales), Oliver Ives (Software Engineer), Molly Roodhouse (Marketing Executive), and Nicola Bailey (HR Manager). With more hands and new skill sets on board, the Integrel team heads into the new year in a promising position.

Having joined the team as Sales Director the same day Integrel won the Dame Award, James comments, “every moment since has been very busy. Exciting times ahead at a Cornish company leading the world in cleaner and greener marine technology.”

George also joined the company amid the success of the Dame award, he comments, “it’s fantastic to be a part of a close-knit team of excellent people, working together with a shared passion for sustainable boating.”

Molly joined Integrel to supplement the development and execution of marketing strategies to promote our business, “I look forward to creating new content to showcase the talent of the Integrel team behind the scenes”.

Oliver comments on Integrel’s team dynamic, stating, “you instantly feel part of something important. The feedback we get from our customers and even within the team is great and keeps us motivated. Looking forward to what comes next!”

Alongside these valuable additions, the Integrel team is very pleased to announce that both Nigel Calder and Ken Wittamore have returned to the Board as technical advisors. Integrel’s CEO Trevor Howard notes, “As a technical advisor with vast experience in the sailing industry, Nigel played a pioneering role in the development of the original Integrel System. He brings a wealth of knowledge in the marine sector, and his contributions, advice, and expertise will help us develop and grow current and future products”.

With Ken also returning to the Board as a Technical Advisor, the company will benefit greatly from his specialized knowledge in high-efficiency electrical generation and distribution in the marine sector. Trever adds, “Ken is helping us hone our technology with the application of in-depth research together with years of highly relevant experience”.

Integrel anticipates an exciting and busy 2023 and will continue to keep you updated on our endeavours. We have our sights set on launching The Integrel: The Next Generation commercially, which consists of Integrel Inline, Integrel Plus, and Integrel Ultra. It is a unique innovative sustainable power solution for the sailboat and powerboat markets. We will also be attending the quickly approaching Boot Düsseldorf boat show, where we hope to see you at our stand: Hall 10 / C07.
