We are very proud to hear the news that Larry Folsom and his crew won lines honours in this year’s Cape2Rio race, with Integrel E-Power 18DE onboard their Balance Catamaran 526. Congratulations Larry, friends, family, and crew on this prosperous voyage!
It is also, an amazing achievement for Balance Catamarans, illustrating decades of experience in catamaran racing, voyaging, design, engineering, and building.
Norhi was the first Balance Catamaran to enter this 3,300 nautical mile ocean race. This performance-orientated catamaran demonstrated exceptional technology and care, finishing the race with a 200-plus nautical mile lead. With the addition of Integrel E-Power in replacement of a hefty generator, this catamaran certainly stood in good stead at the start line of this challenging race.
