With turnover doubling in the past 12 months, a £7 million order book and the appointment of a new Chief Commercial Officer, Integrel Solutions enters its next phase of growth.

Integrel Solutions is entering an exciting new chapter, following a period of significant commercial growth and unprecedented global interest in its hybrid propulsion and onboard power generation technologies.

Over the past 12 months, the company has seen exponential growth in demand from boatbuilders and marine OEMs worldwide, as the industry increasingly looks towards more efficient, integrated approaches to onboard energy generation and management. This growing interest has translated into a doubling of company turnover in the last 12 months, and a current order book valued at approximately £7 million, providing a strong platform for continued expansion.

Two key developments have helped drive this momentum: the first installations of Integrel E-Drive, its integrated hybrid propulsion solution combining electric drive with high-output onboard power generation, and the launch of Integrel E-Power for powerboats, extending its power generation technology into new market sectors and creating further opportunities with boatbuilders looking to adopt more efficient, integrated approaches to onboard energy.

Alongside its product development and commercial expansion, Integrel Solutions plans to launch a new Boatbuilder Programme in 2027. The programme will strengthen existing partnerships and build new relationships with boatbuilders and OEMs, providing closer technical and commercial support to help them integrate Integrel technology into their vessels and bring the benefits of more efficient onboard energy solutions to their customers.

Strengthening the leadership team

As a result of this growth, and to support this next phase, Integrel Solutions is delighted to announce the appointment of Nick Holland as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). Nick joins the business with more than 16 years of experience at Navico Group, where he worked extensively across marine power solutions and integrated technologies sectors.

His experience working closely with boatbuilders, marine OEMs and the wider marine industry brings valuable commercial and market expertise to the Integrel leadership team.

Commenting on his appointment, Nick said: “I’ve spent much of my career working with boatbuilders and marine OEMs, and I believe we’re entering one of the most significant periods of change our industry has seen. The way we generate, store and use energy onboard is evolving rapidly, creating exciting opportunities for boatbuilders, OEMs and end users alike.

“That’s a big part of what attracted me to Integrel Solutions. What particularly excited me about this opportunity is the chance to help shape that transition with technology that challenges traditional thinking around onboard energy generation, management and propulsion.”

Nick’s appointment reflects Integrel’s ambition to build on its growing international presence, strengthen relationships with existing and new OEM partners, and accelerate the commercial development of its technology.

Investment in facilities and R&D

E Drive Installation in Engine RoomAlongside its commercial growth, Integrel is planning further investment in its facilities and development capabilities to increase capacity and support future product innovation. This forms part of a wider strategy to strengthen the business and ensure it is well positioned to meet the evolving needs of the global marine industry.

At its headquarters and operational base in Hayle, Cornwall, Integrel is planning an expansion of its facilities to accommodate the growing business, and support increasing operational requirements.

Further investment is also planned for its R&D facilities in Hythe, Southampton, where further development of Integrel’s electric motor technology is progressing. Strengthening these capabilities will support the company’s ongoing commitment to innovation, product development and the evolution of its hybrid propulsion solutions.

Looking ahead

With strong commercial momentum, an expanding product portfolio, an experienced leadership team and further investment planned, Integrel Solutions is well positioned for its next stage of development.

Trevor Howard, CEO of Integrel Solutions, commented: “It’s an incredibly exciting time for Integrel Solutions. The level of interest and demand we’re seeing from boatbuilders around the world is unprecedented, and the growth we’ve achieved over the past 12 months is a real reflection of the relevance of our technology and the direction the marine industry is heading.

“We’re seeing a fundamental shift in how the industry thinks about onboard power and propulsion, and Integrel is in a strong position to play an important role in that transition. With E-Drive now being installed and operational on boats globally, the expansion of E-Power into new markets, and the strength of our order book, we’re building real momentum.

“Nick’s appointment is an important addition to the team, and our planned investment in facilities and R&D will give us the capacity and capabilities to take the business forward. We’re ambitious about what comes next, and this is very much the beginning of the next chapter.”

Integrel Solutions will be exhibiting at Metstrade 2026, Hall 3, Stand 03.122, where boatbuilders, marine professionals and anyone interested in finding out more are invited to come along and talk to the Integrel team. See you there!
